More and more Facebook is coming to dominate the way I communicate online; I’m not sure how to feel about this, but I have to say it has resurrected relationships I thought had been lost forever.

I don’t have the reluctance about “friending” students that Manan, for instance, feels. It seems natural to me that they be able to find me on the platform they’re using most of the time anyhow.

On the coolness front, I have subscribed to two new services on the dreaded Fbook: ping.fm, which does its darnedest to amalgamate all your social media presences, and Mirror Blog, which allows reciprocal posting from hosted blog to Fbook tab. We need this sort of crap. It saves time.
